because her box-office tv and movie credentials will speak for itself. Direk Joyce Bernal, or as fondly called Binibining or Miss
Joyce, has worked with the country’s BIGGEST stars like Aga Muhlach, Robin
Padilla, Piolo Pascual,Judy Ann Santos, Regine Velasquez and Sharon Cuneta.
To her credit are successes on TV of GMA’s Filiipinized
version of “Marimar”, the series
that made Marian Rivera a big star; and “Stairway to Heaven” with Richard
Gutierrez and Rhian Ramos.
And in the movies,
she is known for comedy and love story blockbuster hits like “Mr.
Suave”, “Till There Was You”, ‘Don’t Give Up On Us”, “Pagdating Ng Panahon” and
more. Most recently, she was the
director behind the movie that took Eugene Domingo’s career to greater heights
- “Kimmy Dora”.
She directed a primetime soap in GMA 7 called "I Love You Pare" with Dingdong Dantes and Regine Velasques and another in TV5 "Babaing Hampaslupa" starring Alex Gonzaga, Alice Dixon and Susan Roces.
